French Beach Provincial Park, located on the road to Port Renfrew.
About 30 minutes from Victoria, British Columbia. The south tip of Vancouver
Island, overlooking the Juan De Fuca Straights. An awsome view of the Olympic
Mountains in Washington State.
Over the years Whale Watching has replaced commercial fishing as one of the major industries in the area.
Not very far away at China Beach and Jordan River hundreds of windsurfers gather for some of the most fabulous sport in the area. A must see for anyone coming to Victoria.

The campground is in a beautiful forest location, with easy walk to the water. I personally like this place as the surf never stops. Awesome sunsets are just about every night |

Pit toilets washroom and water are near the campgrounds. No hookups are available, and the usual disclaimer I make about BC Park firewood applies (ie, bring lots of kindling and firestarter).
An economical campground, but I would only recommend it during summer. It can be darn cold tenting there in the winter. In fact, it may be closed in winter months.
