Docks and Moorage in Cowichan Bay

Summer always promises a lot of changes for boaters coming to Cowichan Bay. So, be sure to check for the latest information.

If you are looking for overnight moorage boats of nearly every size can be accommodated at the Fisherman's Docks. Smaller boat accommodation can be arranged for at most of the marinas. Staff or contact numbers are on the individual docks.

Cowichan Bay has an excellent bottom for anchoring. Boats have been doing so for over 150 years. All the area in front of the docks has a gently sloped bottom from 20 to 75 or so feet.

Skiffs are welcome to tie up nearly everywhere. But, you are asked to be sure you are not in a reserved boat area. A check with the wharfinger or marina contact is recommended. There is no charge for short term day use.
